Invitation Suite | Pink Letters Calligraphy

Cypress, TX

I love collaborating with other local wedding vendors! When I found María Zamarripa on Instagram and found out she lives in the same area as me, I knew I had to reach out to her for a collaboration. She’s a super talented calligraphist from the Cypress area. She runs an independent business called called Esperanza Atelier. Isn’t her work absolutely stunning?

This invitation suite was created on cream colored paper with raw natural edges. I love how delicately the rose gold lettering is scribed onto each piece.  The aqua blue envelopes are finished with gold wax seals and darling vintage stamps. The place markers match the paper used for the envelopes but they are subtle enough to add just the right touch of elegance to a place setting.

Recently I’ve been obsessed with pampas grass. I actually found some on a roadside that I harvested with Jacky. I wanted to use it for styling and decorating the house but when we got it home we found out it was covered in aphids! If you try to decorate with pampas grass in your home beware – and maybe leave it outside for a couple days first! There’s several other ornamental grasses in Texas so I found a smaller variety to use as a styling detail for this invitation suite.
